Radiology Services Discontinued
May 12th, 2011
As of April 7, 2011, WellOne no longer offers radiology services. Patient radiology films which were not previously picked-up have been moved to the Miriam Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Center (MDIC) located at 195 Collyer St. Providence.
The MDIC site is easy to get to and has ample parking. Most importantly, MDIC exemplifies the same extraordinary customer service standard as offered at WellOne.
To ease this transition, WellOne patients can call (401) 793-9729 (XRAY) to schedule appointments or obtain their records. All patients should identify themselves as WellOne when both scheduling an appointment or requesting their records. Please do not call the main scheduling number.
The MDIC is a participant in the Woman Cancer Screening Program and takes all major insurance.

From Points North: Take I-95 south to exit 25 (Smithfield Avenue). Take left at top of exit. Continue short distance, staying to left, until you see entrance to Shaw’s plaza. Turn left onto Collyer Street and University Medical Center is on left as you enter plaza.
